John and Cheryl Simm purchased the Crabby Oyster on October 22, 2010 with the goal of changing it from a "Crab House" setting with seafood only to a family style restaurant that includes great seafood and some home comforts. With wanting to be a family restaurant we knew we needed to include Cheryl's grandmother Mary Parly into not only the name, but also the spirit of Marly's.
She always wanted you to feel welcome in her home and be well fed when you left.
With our sons John and Chris we are working to put the "Family" back in to "Family Restaurant". We welcome everyone into our home away from home, strive to make sure everyone gets their meal the way they want it, and that they are comfortably, or sometimes uncomfortably, full when they leave us.
